Traditionell sind Timbales Sticks - anders als Drumsticks - gleichmäßig im Durchmesser und haben keinen Kopf an der Spitze. Damit ist die Balance allerdings nicht ausgewogen und der Klang des Ride Beckens leidet darunter.
Zusammen mit Josè Cortijo haben wir spezielle Timbales Sticks entwickelt, die die Eigenschaften eines Drumsticks mit denen der Timbales kombinieren. So wird der Klang von Cowbells, Cáscara oder Timbales-Fellen nicht verfälscht. Eine gute Alternative auch für Musiker, die sowohl Timbales als auch Drums zeitgleich spielen.
